Elon Musk Refused to Give Up Tesla Chairman Role to Settle SEC Lawsuit: Report

The SEC settlement reportedly required Elon Musk to give up chairmanship for 2 years and to pay a nominal fine, and to appoint two new independent directors to Tesla board.
