Twitter Launches New Initiatives to Tackle Misinformation Ahead of Assembly Elections in India

Twitter India on Monday launched a series of new initiatives including a new information search prompt and a custom emoji ahead of the scheduled assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry. This will help users get information on voter registration, details about EVMs and VVPATs, and help tackle election-related misinformation.
