Taiwan Dominates the World’s Supply of Computer Chips – No Wonder the US Is Worried

Nancy Pelosi's recent trip to Taiwan also included her meeting with Mark Lui, chairman of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (TSMC). It comes as no surprise that the US is interested in Taiwan’s autonomy in the semiconductor market as it helps the US to resist China’s effort to develop advanced chips.
