Apple Said to Consider Bidding for English Football Streaming Rights on Apple TV+

Apple is said to be considering bidding for streaming rights to English football games, to help the company compete with entrenched rivals. The Cupertino company forged its baseball deal a year ago, agreeing to show Friday night games for free, and began requiring a subscription to watch games in the US this season.
