Dwayne Johnson Partners With Disney to Announce a Moana Live-Action Remake

Disney has teamed up with Dwayne Johnson to develop a live-action remake of the 2016 animated movie Moana. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Johnson plans to reprise his role as Maui, the demigod of the wind and sea. The film is currently in early development with no director at the helm. Beau Flynn, who wrote the original film is back on board to write the remake.
