Apple M4 Chip With On-Device AI, Ray Tracing and Ultra Retina XDR Display Support Launched

Apple M4 chip has been launched as the latest Apple Silicon chip, built on the firm's second-generation 3nm technology with up to 10 CPU cores. The new M4 chip powers the latest iPad Pro (2024). It boasts improved on-device AI performance with an upgraded Neural Engine and support for hardware accelerated ray tracing on the latest iPad Pro (2024).
